The biggest complaint from growers about traditional cover fleeces is that they tear easily. Even a small tear quickly leads to damage, making the cover require replacement too soon. NPI introduces a revolutionary type of protective cover: ENPI Cover climate netting.

ENPI Cover climate netting creates ideal conditions for crop growth. By placing it directly on crops or over tunnel arches, it protects against frost, wind and even geese. The net also creates a microclimate, so that the crops can be harvested earlier. It is the perfect solution for the start and end of the growing season!

Advantages over traditional fleece covers

ENPI cover climate netting offers several major advantages over the current generation of covering fleece. The biggest advantage is that it is made of knitted tapes with a triangular mesh, which gives this new fabric much higher tear resistance. With large widths, traditional covering fleece is easily caught by the wind, causing it to flap and tear. ENPI cover climate netting does not flap; at most, it will wave. This keeps it intact and allows the net to be reused, extending its lifespan by years!

• The strongest net on the market (42 g/m²): This ideal weight provides protection against the elements while remaining soft and light enough for plants to lift as they grow. Without causing damage!
• Maximum light transmission: Made from transparent material, it allows 92% of light through, with only 8% light reduction.
• Durable and reusable: Designed to last several years in temperate climates.
• Breathable but tightly knitted: Prevents seedlings from growing through the net and causing damage.
• It is made from polyethylene: Therefore water doesn’t penetrate in the tapes and this way condensation and mold have less chance to develop.

In recent years, ENPI cover climate netting has been extensively tested in the field. It has proven its value on leafy crops, lettuce varieties and various other crops. Even on very large surfaces, ENPI cover performs reliably and over the long term. Thanks to these advantages, the annual costs of using ENPI cover climate net are lower compared to traditional covering fleece.

Sizes

We supply climate netting in a wide range of standard sizes. Stock sizes are:

• Widths of 12, 14, 16, 18, and 24 meters with a roll length of 100 meters
• Widths of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10.5, 12, and 14 meters with roll lengths of 250 meters

In addition, we can produce the climate netting in any required dimension. We even supply widths of up to 26 and 28 meters, in any desired roll length.
