NPI offers various options for crop and harvest protection. One product commonly used for this is Enpicrop cover fleece 17. Enpicrop cover fleece is a light white/transparent polypropylene fleece made from a continuous filament. It is commonly used to protect vegetables, plants, tree nursery crops and fruit in open fields, in greenhouses and in tunnels.
The benefits of these products in a nutshell:
- creating a microclimate – the fleece prevents large temperature fluctuations
- water permeable
- no condensation
- flexible (moves with the plant as it grows)
- increases harvest yields
- natural lighting
- protects crops against insects, birds and slugs
- high tensile strength
The fleece is UV resistant but allows water and air to permeate. This allows the crops to breathe properly and creates a greenhouse effect. The earth warms more rapidly and the seedlings sprout earlier. In this way, the agricultural fleece accelerates and increases the harvest yield. The agricultural fleece also protects the seedlings and crops against insects, birds and slugs. The agricultural fleece is flexible and grows with the plant. In short: it guarantees the best for your plants!
Our cover fleece is made from 17 grammes quality material and is available on rolls of 100 and 250 metres. Various widths of up to 12.65 metres are available. The wider rolls are folded, which makes them easier to handle.
