Windbreak netting and shade netting have many applications across different sectors. They are widely used in horticulture in nurseries, garden centres, flower and bulb fields. In the agricultural sector they are also used in livestock barns, and they are also often applied as privacy screening in sport and recreation areas.
Windbreak netting
The main purpose of windbreak netting is to reduce wind speed. It allows air to pass through while reducing damage caused by wind, drying out and leaf damage. Windbreak netting is therefore often used in crops where wind has a negative impact, but good ventilation is still required.
Quality
Our Enpilon windbreak netting is a strong netting made from high-quality polyethylene tapes and monofilament yarn. The weaving technique, together with the quality of the tapes, ensures that once installed under tension, the netting remains stable and under tension, even in strong winds or other harsh conditions. We offer a UV guarantee of 4 or 5 years based on depreciation.
Wind reduction
The structure of the netting provides wind reduction over a distance of approximately six times the height of the wind barrier. In addition, our windbreak netting also provides a shading effect of 40–50%.
Installation
Our windbreak nets are green and available with or without pole sleeves. We also offer a version with lacing eyes for a tight and secure installation. Please refer to our catalogue for the latest roll sizes and specifications.

Shade netting
When not only wind reduction but also light or heat reduction is required, heavier nets are used. These heavier nets, the typical shade nets, provide a shading level of 85%, 93%, or 95% and offer UV protection. We supply shade nets on rolls.
Colours
Our shade nets are popular because they combine functionality with attractive modern colours. They are widely used in garden centres, the recreation sector, and as privacy screening in garden and green environments. That is why the colour range is both practical and distinctive. Available colours include anthracite, grey, green, off-white, sand, and dark brown. Please contact us for exact colours and roll sizes.
