Through our trusted dealer Joosten Groep, we worked on a project at a waste processing company. Their mission is to turn waste streams into raw materials, reducing the pressure on natural resources as much as possible. Each year, they reuse or recycle 95% of 1.2 million tons of inert waste streams into high-quality, certified products.
Safety water
The customer requested an adaption to an existing basin on their site. To meet specific requirements, they need a dedicated reservoir for safety water; a crucial measure in case of emergencies.
HDPE 2.0 mm welded at location
For this project our most robust liner was requested: 2.0 mm HDPE. Because HDPE is very rigid, it cannot be prefabricated. Instead, our team installs and welds it directly on site. Using a spreader beam, the team unrolled the liner and placed them into the basin. They welded around 2,100 m² of liner on location.
Circular enterprise
This way, the customer has the required fire water storage on site, and together with Joosten we were happy to contribute to circular enterprise!
